8ouncesBrie cheeseSliced or torn into small pieces.
1cupDried cranberriesCranberry sauce can also work.
1/2cupChopped toasted walnutsPecans can be substituted.
1mediumPear, thinly slicedOptional but recommended.
1tablespoonHot honeyCan use regular honey mixed with chili flakes.
Instructions
Preparation
Preheat the oven to 400°F (or 425°F for crusts that are already baked).
Toast the chopped walnuts in a dry skillet over medium heat for 3 to 5 minutes until fragrant.
Arrange the mini crusts on a baking sheet. Lightly toast the crusts for 2 to 3 minutes if desired.
Scatter brie pieces on each crust, followed by pear slices, dried cranberries, and toasted walnuts.
Baking
Bake for 8 to 12 minutes, until the brie is melted and edges are golden.
Drizzle hot honey over the pizzas immediately after taking them out of the oven.
Let cool for a minute before serving to avoid burns from molten brie.
Notes
For the best texture, slice pears thinly. Don’t overload the toppings to keep the mini pizzas from becoming soggy. Use parchment paper on the baking sheet for easier cleanup.
