Delicious chicken skewers glazed with a sweet and spicy hot honey sauce, perfect for a quick weeknight dinner or entertaining friends.

Ingredients
For the skewers

boneless skinless chicken thighs or breasts, cut into 1 to 1.5 inch chunks
Chicken thighs stay tender, but breasts work too.

honey
Main component of the glaze.

hot sauce
Use your favorite hot sauce.

Can substitute with olive oil for dairy-free.

Soak wooden skewers for at least 20 minutes to prevent burning.
Instructions
Preparation
Cut the chicken into 1 to 1.5 inch chunks.
Season the chicken with salt and pepper.
Thread the seasoned chicken pieces onto skewers.
Cooking
Preheat the grill or broiler to high heat.
Cook the skewers on high heat until nearly done, about 8-10 minutes, turning occasionally.
Meanwhile, prepare the hot honey glaze by melting butter in a pan, then adding minced garlic and cooking for 30 seconds.
Stir in honey, hot sauce, paprika, and vinegar; cook until the glaze bubbles, then reduce heat.
Brush the glaze onto the skewers in the final minute of cooking to achieve a sticky finish.
Serving
Serve immediately with your choice of rice, salad, wraps, or grilled veggies.
Notes
For those who want a lighter glaze, control the amount brushed on. Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
