Ingredients
1lbground beef (or ground turkey)
2canschili beans, undrained (15 oz each)
1candiced tomatoes with juice (28 oz)
1packetchili seasoning mix (1.25 oz)
1medium yellow onion, chopped
Instructions
Brown the ground beef in a skillet over medium heat until no longer pink. Drain excess fat.
Add browned beef to crockpot along with chopped onion, beans, tomatoes (with juice), and chili seasoning.
Stir everything together until well combined.
Cover and cook on LOW for 6–8 hours or HIGH for 3–4 hours.
Stir, taste, and adjust seasoning if needed. Serve warm with optional toppings.
Notes
For extra flavor, add a tablespoon of tomato paste or a splash of Worcestershire sauce.
