Easy Crockpot Chili (5 Ingredients)

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef (or ground turkey)
  • 2 cans chili beans, undrained (15 oz each)
  • 1 can diced tomatoes with juice (28 oz)
  • 1 packet chili seasoning mix (1.25 oz)
  • 1 medium yellow onion, chopped

Instructions

  • Brown the ground beef in a skillet over medium heat until no longer pink. Drain excess fat.
  • Add browned beef to crockpot along with chopped onion, beans, tomatoes (with juice), and chili seasoning.
  • Stir everything together until well combined.
  • Cover and cook on LOW for 6–8 hours or HIGH for 3–4 hours.
  • Stir, taste, and adjust seasoning if needed. Serve warm with optional toppings.

Notes

For extra flavor, add a tablespoon of tomato paste or a splash of Worcestershire sauce.
Top with cheddar, sour cream, or green onions for serving.
Freezes well for up to 3 months — great for batch cooking.
