Instructions
Preparation
Pre-toast the bread by air frying at 350°F for 1-2 minutes for added firmness.
In a small bowl, mix cottage cheese with a pinch of Italian seasoning and pepper. Optionally, strain to remove excess moisture.
Assembly
Spread marinara on the pre-toasted bread, then spoon the cottage cheese mixture on top. Add mozzarella and chosen toppings.
Cooking
Air fry at 350°F for about 5-7 minutes, checking after 5 minutes until edges are crisp and the top is warmed through.
Let it sit for 1 minute before serving, and optionally sprinkle with oregano or chili flakes.
