Equipment

  • parchment-lined baking sheet
  • cutting board
  • sharp knife
  • oven
  • spoon (for spreading sauce)

Ingredients

  • 8 mini pizza crusts, English muffins, or small pita rounds
  • 1/2 cup pizza sauce
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 can whole black olives

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • Place mini crusts on a parchment-lined baking sheet. Spread a spoonful of pizza sauce on each one.
  • Sprinkle shredded mozzarella cheese generously over the sauce.
  • Slice black olives: cut in half for spider bodies, then cut remaining halves into 8 thin strips for legs. Arrange 1 body and 8 legs on each pizza.
  • Bake for 8–10 minutes until the cheese is melted and starting to brown.
  • Let cool for 1 minute before serving. Serve warm and spooky!

Notes

Try using green olives or cherry tomatoes for spider variations. Bell pepper or mushroom slices also work for legs and bodies. To create a web design, use a piping bag with ranch dressing. Assemble in advance and refrigerate up to 6 hours before baking.
