10-12cupsday-old bread, cubed
10large eggs
2.5cupsmilk

8ozcooked breakfast sausage

black pepper to taste
pinch garlic powder

Instructions
Grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.
Layer half the bread cubes, followed by sausage, vegetables, and cheese, then top with remaining bread and ingredients.
In a bowl, whisk eggs, milk, salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
Pour mixture evenly over bread, pressing gently to soak.
Cover and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight.
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and let casserole sit at room temperature for 20–30 minutes.
