1tablespoonsoy sauce or tamari
1tablespoonDijon mustard
1teaspoongarlic powder or minced garlic

optionala little lemon juice or chili flakes
Instructions
Preparation
Heat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a sheet pan with foil or parchment if you want easy cleanup.
Pat the salmon dry with paper towels to help it roast better and keep the glaze from sliding off.
Season the salmon with salt and pepper.
Make the glaze in a small bowl: mix together maple syrup, melted butter, Dijon mustard, soy sauce, and garlic.
Spoon or brush the glaze over the salmon and sprinkle chopped pecans on top, gently pressing them in.
Bake for about 10 to 14 minutes, depending on thickness. The salmon should flake easily with a fork and look opaque.
For extra color, broil for 1 to 2 minutes at the end, keeping an eye on it to prevent burning.
Let it sit for a minute, then spoon any pan glaze over the top before serving.
Notes
Avoid skipping the step of patting the salmon dry, and chop the pecans small for better adherence. If broiling, watch closely as maple syrup can scorch quickly.
