1lbcarrots, peeled and cut into sticks or coins
2tbsppure maple syrup
1tbspunsalted butter or olive oil
1/2tspfresh thyme leaves (or 1/4 tsp dried thyme)

Instructions
Steam or boil the carrots for 4–5 minutes until just tender.
In a skillet, melt the butter (or heat oil) over medium heat.
Add maple syrup and thyme, stir to combine.
