  • 1 teaspoon Black pepper

Preparation

  • Cut the steak into bite-size cubes and pat them dry with paper towels.
  • Season with salt and pepper.

Cooking

  • Heat a skillet on medium-high heat with a little oil and add the steak in a single layer.
  • Sear for about 2 minutes per side until a nice crust forms and then set aside on a plate.
  • Lower the heat to medium and add butter to the same pan. Once melted, add garlic and stir for 30 seconds.
  • Pour in the heavy cream, stir, and scrape the browned bits from the pan. Let it bubble gently to thicken.
  • Add grated Parmesan cheese slowly, stirring until smooth. Adjust the consistency with more cream or broth if necessary.
  • Toss the steak bites back into the sauce and stir until coated and warmed through.
  • Taste and adjust seasoning. If desired, sprinkle with parsley before serving.

Notes

Ensure to not overcook the steak; it should be slightly undercooked before adding it back into the sauce. Grate your own Parmesan for better melting and flavor.
