1lblarge uncooked shrimp, peeled and deveined
1/2tspkosher salt
1/4tspblack pepper
1/8tspcayenne pepper
3tbspunsalted butter, divided
1smallshallot, minced
1/2cupdry white wine or chicken stock
4clovesgarlic, minced
1smalllemon, zested and juiced
1tbspfresh rosemary or thyme (optional)
1/4cupchopped fresh parsley

Instructions
Pat the shrimp dry and season evenly with salt, black pepper, and cayenne.
Melt 2 tablespoons of butter in a large skillet over medium heat and sauté the shallots until softened.
Add the shrimp in a single layer and cook for about 1 minute per side.
Add the garlic and wine or stock, cooking for 2–3 minutes until the sauce reduces by half.
Remove from heat and stir in the remaining butter, lemon zest, and lemon juice.
Sprinkle with herbs and parsley, toss gently to coat, and serve immediately.
