1cupMilk (dairy or unsweetened alternative)

Instructions
Preparation
In a bowl, mix the dry ingredients: flour, baking powder, salt, and sugar.
In another bowl, mix the wet ingredients: milk, egg, melted butter, vanilla extract, and softened cream cheese until mostly smooth.
Gently combine the wet and dry ingredients until just mixed, then fold in the chopped strawberries.
Cooking
Butter a skillet and heat to medium heat. Pour about 1/4 cup of batter per pancake.
Cook until bubbles form on top and edges look dry, then flip and cook until done.
If making multiple pancakes, keep finished pancakes warm in a 200°F oven.
Notes
To make pancakes taste even more dessert-like, mix cream cheese with powdered sugar and a splash of milk for a drizzle. Enjoy these pancakes fresh or store leftovers in an airtight container for up to three days.
