Equipment

  • skillet
  • knife
  • cutting board
  • tongs

Ingredients

  • 1 lb sirloin steak, cut into bite-sized cubes
  • 3 tbsp butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp Dijon mustard
  • 0.5 lemon, juiced
  • 0.5 tsp paprika
  • 0.25 tsp red pepper flakes
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
  • Salt & pepper to taste

Instructions

  • Season steak bites with salt, pepper, and paprika.
  • Heat skillet over high heat and sear steak cubes until browned on all sides. Remove and set aside.
  • Reduce heat to medium. In the same skillet, melt butter and add garlic, Dijon mustard, lemon juice, and red pepper flakes. Stir for 1–2 minutes.
  • Return steak bites to the skillet, toss to coat in the cowboy butter sauce.
  • Sprinkle with chopped parsley and serve immediately.

Notes

Use ribeye or strip steak for a richer result. Adjust red pepper flakes to control heat level. Serve with toothpicks as an appetizer or over sides like mashed potatoes or rice. Reheat gently in a skillet to keep steak tender.
