Ingredients

  • 1 can refrigerated cinnamon rolls (with icing)
  • 2 large eggs
  • 0.5 cup milk (or half-and-half)
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 0.5 tsp cinnamon
  • Butter, for cooking
  • Maple syrup, powdered sugar, or extra icing for topping

Instructions

  • Open the can of cinnamon rolls and cut each roll into quarters.
  • In a bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, vanilla extract, and cinnamon until smooth.
  • Dip the cinnamon roll pieces into the custard mixture, coating evenly.
  • Heat a skillet over medium heat and melt a little butter.
  • Add the dipped cinnamon roll pieces and cook for 2–3 minutes per side, until golden brown.
  • Serve warm with icing, maple syrup, or a dusting of powdered sugar.

Notes

You can bake these in the oven at 350°F for 12–15 minutes instead of pan-frying.
Use homemade cinnamon roll dough if you prefer a from-scratch version.
Store leftovers in the fridge and reheat in the oven or air fryer.
