Ingredients

  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 tbsp olive oil or butter
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 1 pack Boursin Garlic & Fine Herbs cheese
  • 1/4 cup heavy cream (optional, for richness)
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Fresh parsley or thyme, for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  • Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper on both sides.
  • Heat olive oil or butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Sear the chicken 3–4 minutes per side until golden brown and nearly cooked through. Remove and set aside.
  • In the same skillet, sauté minced garlic for 30 seconds until fragrant.
  • Add chicken broth and stir to deglaze the pan, scraping up any browned bits. Add the Boursin cheese and stir until fully melted and smooth.
  • Return chicken to skillet and spoon sauce over. Simmer on low heat 6–8 minutes until chicken is fully cooked and infused with flavor.
  • If desired, stir in heavy cream for extra silkiness. Garnish with fresh herbs and serve hot.

Notes

Use low-sodium broth to control saltiness. Stir in heavy cream at the end for extra richness. Add spinach or mushrooms to stretch the dish and deepen the flavor. Leftovers reheat beautifully with a splash of milk. Serve with mashed potatoes, pasta, or greens for a complete meal.
