Ingredients

  • 4 white fish fillets (cod, tilapia, haddock, or pollock)
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp paprika
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • Optional: tartar sauce or dipping sauce

Instructions

  • Preheat air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
  • Pat fish fillets dry thoroughly with paper towels.
  • Brush both sides with olive oil.
  • Mix garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper in a small bowl and season evenly.
  • Place fillets in the air fryer basket in a single layer without overcrowding.
  • Air fry for 8 to 10 minutes, checking at 8 minutes.
  • Cook until fish flakes easily and reaches an internal temperature of 145°F.
  • Drizzle with lemon juice and serve immediately.

Notes

Fish is fully cooked when it flakes easily and reaches 145°F internally.
Do not overcrowd the air fryer basket.
Cooking time depends on thickness of fillets.
For breaded fish, coat in seasoned panko and lightly spray with oil before air frying.
Store leftovers in the refrigerator up to 2 days and reheat in air fryer for 2–3 minutes.
